Going back through the last questions thread, I noticed a couple of quick questions from Roaming. I figured I’d rapid fire them today.
As a quick note to my readers, if you submit a hand derived from an online hand history, please use a hand converter such as this one from FlopTurnRiver before you submit the hand. You can set it to “Plain Text” to ensure that it comes through correctly in the comments. That will make the hand less “computery” and easier for humans to read quickly. I’ve done my own quick convert on these hands to make them more readable. You can see the originals in the comments of the Questions Thread.
Sitting longhanded in an online room. I’m wondering if i played the hand correctly, or if i should have done something differently?

You said the game was “somewhat tight”, but this hand was a wild one. Was play like this typical, with four players each playing for three bets on the turn? I’ve played in many “somewhat tight” games where four players wouldn’t end up for three bets on the turn once in 10,000 hands. Let alone end up there with top two being the best hand.

The first hand is just nuts.
One thing I do like to do in similar situations (hand #2) is to 3-bet on the flop once in a while with A-high hands (preferably if I have a backdoor straight or flush draw of some kind to go along with two overcards). I find that makes some players fold, often gets you a free card (or two), and you can win extra pots you would otherwise lose.
