white beltBAM asks,

Ed, I desire to play No Limit Holdem for a living. I only need to make $48,000.00 a year to live. I am only interested in No Limit Holdem cash games.

What advice would you give a person who asked you, what is the best way to learn the Stratergies, Tactics, Principles and whatever else is needed to aquire the knowledge and understanding to be a world class No Limit Holdem Poker player?

In other words, how do I become as KNOWLEDGEABLE of No Limit Holdem as you, Doyle, and other top players.

I really want to aquire the knowledge and understanding of this game!

Poker is a tricky and nuanced game. You can pick up the basic winning principles in a month or so, but it will likely take six months, a year, or even more before you actually can put it all together and play at a professional level.

Good read. I understand karate analogies better than curling analogies :)

Do you have an specific tips on how to overcome ego? I’ve heard about Tommy Angelo and his Tiltless System. Is it any good?
