In NLHTAP, you distinguish between two types of loose-aggressive players, roughly speaking, “good” vs. “bad” loose-aggressive.
With regard to playing against the “good” ones: Is it profitable to play speculative hands against “good” loose-aggressive players?
Since they are often playing speculative (or worse) hands, will they pay off your big hands, since they themselves have to make a big hand to get involved in a big pot?
First thing to ask yourself when you join any game is, “Where is my advantage? How am I going to make my money? Am I looking to win a couple big pots, or am I looking to play “smallball” and gain the advantage there?” More after the break.
