Hi Ed,

you remark on hand 1 that he plays with 50bb but he stated he was playing $100 and two limped in for $4, that would make him play a 25bb stack, not? He might as well have shoved all in on the limpers with such a short stack preflop as it leaves hardly anything post flop to play with.

Ed,

you want to go to another publisher?

There's NO way I'm gonna buy Vol. 2 if the cover doesn't match Vol. 1, because that would ruin the look of my bookshelf! ;-)

The manuscript for Volume 2 is well on its way to being done.

Progress has been a little slow the last few months or so because we (the authors) have been a little reluctant to devote time to the project until the publishing mess is completely sorted.

At this point Mason has publicly disavowed the project, so I'm considering that the go ahead to find other publishing arrangements. We've gotten offers from a few different publishers, but we haven't made any decisions yet.

Bottom line is that the book has definitely been delayed by maybe 4-6 months total because of this publishing tumult, but the bulk of it is written. Since we're much closer to the finish line than the starting gate, I'm certain that despite the stumbling blocks the book is going to get done.

Ed, does that mean that PNL Vol 2 is set to go? Have you successfully negotiated back the rights? I'm really looking forward to the book.

Pim,

I haven't been playing much at all the last few months (online or live) because I've been busy. I moved across the country and I'm juggling five different projects... basically I'm trying to get the new book out, keep this website going as best as I can, do videos for Stoxpoker, and write my CardPlayer column (as well as working on another major project I haven't announced yet). In the time left over I've been wanting to relax and get out of the house a bit rather than play poker.

Having said that, I have played some online and some live in the past few months, and I'm happy to do both when I get the time and I feel the urge to play.

Ed,

Am I correct that you don't play much online anymore? If so, why?

Looking forward to your reply.
