Live players typically keep track of the number of hours they play and think of their winrate in terms of dollars or big blinds/bets per hour.

I know this is a stupid question, but how does one even calculate your win rate? I know it is based on bb/100 hands, but how do you even keep track of how many hands you are playing live?
