I just had a friend link me to this yesterday. I am excited. It will probably will be a couple weeks for us preorder people won’t it?

Can’t wait. Looks like it’ll expand on NLHTAP with a lot more explanation and examples.

Hi!
I think a question like that was asked already: which one to start with, PNLH or NLHTAP.
Having read NLHTAP and this table of contents it seems to me that the new book is planed in a slower and deeper pace. Now as BTR’s recent post encouraged me to finally try NL cash games, I ask: shall I wait with it to read the new book or may I start havinh just read NLHTAP?
(sounds like I am quite not self-confident which is true…)

I say start playing now. The extra experience will help you understand the book better.

I had to LOL when I saw that one of the chapters is “It Depends”. I remembered the article that Ed wrote here when he said that he understands how exasperated we must get because whenever we ask a question, the pros always seem to answer with “it depends”. :)

Kudos to Ed and the other authors, this looks like a book that all serious NL players need to read.
