I confess. I’m excited about this book. Not many poker books come along these days that get me excited, but I’m looking forward to reading this one.

For those who don’t know, Nick Grudzien (stoxtrader) is one of the best limit hold ‘em players around. He’s teamed up with Geoff Herzog (zobags) to produce a book about playing in tough and short-handed limit hold ‘em games. Most limit hold ‘em authors (including yours truly) focus on beating soft games. So this book, titled Winning in Tough Hold ‘em Games (with an unbearably long subtitle), will likely break some new ground and otherwise kick ass. I’m looking forward.

The book’s not out yet, but I just noticed that it is now available for preorder on Amazon. I’m preordering now.
