The affordable poker e-book Small Stakes No-Limit Hold’em by Ed Miller, Sunny Mehta, and Matt Flynn is almost here. Just two weeks until release on June 16, 2009!

Preordering is now open.

A few things:

  • Buy the book right now. Yes, the preorder period lasts two weeks, but don’t put it off. You’re at a computer. You’re thinking about it. Lock in your order now. Buy right now.
  • If you have questions about the book, check out the Small Stakes No-Limit Hold’em FAQ. We answer a lot of stuff in there. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us.
  • We have a forum on the book website that is the best place to connect with all the authors with questions about the book. If you comment here, I’ll probably be the only one to see it. All three authors will be on the forums to talk about the book. So definitely visit the forums.
  • If you contact me privately, please be patient for a response. These two weeks until release is going to be a crazy time for me and I can unfortunately be a little slow even in the best of circumstances.

Thanks everyone for all the support, and I hope the book knocks your socks off.

Ok, lol. I think I caved in. Although I complained about the price of your e-book, I think I just gotta have it. Cudos that you answered to my comment in which I complained about the pricing. That was very a very applaudable stand-up.

Also, the 1,8k pokerbook by some freaks gave me a pause for thought. You won me over, Ed. Youre too good to miss out.

Gonna order now.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see the box to check for updates. In any case, I wait with baited breath.

Yeah. Ordered mine couple hours ago.

Now this is really sad. I was so anxious to use Full Tilt transfer first time ever for a purchase, saw that it would take maybe a couple days for confirmation, went with google checkout.

In my head I know that doesn’t matter whatsoever but I had to have my confirmation now.

This could be a clue to one of my leaks. I know in my head not to do it, but sometimes I do it anyway as patience wanes.

Wow. The book has improved my game already and I won’t read it for 2 more weeks. THAT’s a whole new level of poker books.

Congrats on wrapping it up ED. Between that and WSOP I say you are ready for a well-earned vacation ( if you don’t blow your travel fund at WSOP) (:

Jamleeco – LMAO! I feel the same way … playing better now so I don’t feel disappointed in myself when I read this book.

I must have been among the first to order it … was hitting refresh all day on the ‘Buy’ page. When it finally changed it was like the Red Sea had parted :-) I was even late getting my kids so I could get my order in!

Kabryn,

A man after my own heart. :) I too kept going to the buy page regularly. We probably had the order in before the posting by Ed here.

Again, we both know this matters not, but life is not always rational. But to be fair to us, as poker players and fathers, we know things have a way of going wrong, so better safe than sorry.

Some day when the kids throw up to you (and they will) how Daddy was late because he was buying a poker book, throw back at them that the purchase of that book has led to their tuition payments.

Playing better so you won’t disappoint yourself later…that’s some funny shit puto’s.

Oh, I know I got it before the posting.

My kids are done throwing up on me… at least regularly :-)

I may not be able to pay for their tuition, but I can show them how to win beer money!!

Are you going to share how many you have sold yet?
I’m just curious, but definitely understand if you choose not to.

Take care, can’t wait to read it!

z.

I haven’t read Fee’s book so I have no idea how it compares.

Poor European,

Hrmm… well, I don’t want to share actual sales figures at the moment. But before we opened preordering I set an informal target of how many copies I wanted to sell in the two week period, and it looks like we’re probably going to reach that target today, a week early. So I’m definitely delighted that there seems to be even more interest in the book than I’d hoped.
