I’m enjoying watching some of these, although a 200/400 HU LHE match is pretty irrelevant to the games I play in. I’m browsing through some of the other demos in my odd moments at work, and hopefully will find some that are more fitting for the small-but-not-micro-stakes NLHE games that I’m playing now.
What I really wonder, though, is “how serious” one needs to be to get value from a subscription to Stox. Obviously you’d want to estimate that the delta in EV (not just winnings EV, but winnings summed with the enjoyment you get from playing better!) is greater than $30/month or whatever. But realistically, is this stuff worthwhile for someone like me who plays merely several thousand hands of NL100 or so (plus a lot of micro-stakes PLO lately) per month?
