About six weeks ago, I joined the team over at StoxPoker.com. For those who don’t know, StoxPoker is a video poker coaching site which is, in my opinion, one of the very best ways around to improve your poker game. Instead of reading about concepts or seeing one or two examples in isolation, you can watch top-notch players play and describe in real-time exactly what they’re thinking. Watching their insights in the context of an actual game makes video a unique medium.
You may not know that StoxPoker has an excellent affiliate program. For everyone you refer to StoxPoker who upgrades to a Premium membership, you will receive either three free months of StoxPoker (a $60 value) or $45 in cash. If you were thinking about joining StoxPoker yourself, then joining this affiliate program could be a great way to do it for a huge discount. Instead of paying for yourself, just refer a few people from your website and you can try it out for free. If you keep referring at least one player every three months (which isn’t very hard), you can essentially use StoxPoker entirely for free.
And the great thing about being a StoxPoker affiliate is that you’re recommending a terrific community to your readers. I enthusiastically recommend StoxPoker to all my readers because I think it’s a fantastic place to learn about poker, and I believe that people who subscribe, watch the videos regularly, and try to apply the concepts they learn will tend to win far more at the tables than the subscription costs. It’s a win-win deal. So I enjoy telling people about it, and it also tends to be an easy sell.
If you have a blog or website, throw up a post or page about StoxPoker. You can use the banners and ad copy available on the Stoxpoker.com site, or you can write your own. A new video is posted nearly every day. The primary StoxPoker coaches have won combined millions of dollars playing poker. StoxPoker thoroughly covers limit and no-limit hold’em, cash games, sit-and-gos, multitable tournaments, and is expanding into other games, having just recently signed on Robert Williamson, III to do a series of pot-limit Omaha videos. As I said, StoxPoker sells itself, so become an affiliate today. All you have to do is:
- Register a new StoxPoker account (or log in if you have one already)
- Place some links and banners on your site
