Happy New Year. I hope everyone’s year is off to a banging start and that all of my readers will run good today and for all of 2009.

This past week between Christmas and New Year, Sunny and I have been in Vegas working extra hard on the book. The main section of the book, the real meat of it, is now virtually complete. Most of the work left is on the last section – we have one or two more modest chapters to write there. Then we have some editing to do, some proofreading, and then we’re basically ready to go.

We also now have a provisional plan for publishing. Once we’ve made a final decision on that, I’ll let you know what to expect. Our top publishing priority is to make the book available as quickly as possible. No three month boat rides across the Pacific just to get it printed 4 cents per copy cheaper in China.

Soon I’ll post a Table of Contents here so you can know more about what the book does and doesn’t cover.

We’re getting close, guys… and I’m getting excited already. :) Ok, I’m going to get back to work now.

I’m excited too. Have you decided what the title is going to be? I remember at some point you were thinking of calling it “Small Stakes No Limit Hold ‘Em”, weren’t you?

May we all experience more winning sessions and fewer losing ones in 2009.

re: the book – perhaps an excerpt could be posted here at some point similar to 2+2’s internet magazine when PNL vol. 1 came out ?

Happy New Year to you too, Ed. Thanks for the update. Knowing the table of contents is on it’s way will help me work on my new year’s resolution of improving my poker-related patience. =)
