I’d rather not use PayPal for a payment of that size. Do you accept Zimbabwe currency? And what is the address of the loading dock I can have it delivered too?

Do you live in Zimbabwe? I really need dollars or maybe Euros if you could get that because I can’t change most other currencies.

If you don’t want to use Paypal I understand. Cash will be acceptable. You can’t airmail that amount of cash through US customs, but I have an associate, DR HERMES OKONIBWE, in LAGOS, NIGERIA who can act as an intermediary to accept payment. He is an esteemed attorney and he is extremely trustworthy.

Let me know how you would like to proceed.

For a minute there I actually thought $3,995 was a typo and you meant $39.95. Now I see the error of my ways. :)

I was about to offer 3,995 Venezuelan Bolivars, but since you don’t accept foreign currencies, I guess I can’t buy your book after all… :(

Don’t feel bad. A lot of guys at Stox took it serious as well, or at least showed a ” please don’t let it be true ” attitude.

Love Ed’s since of humor.

I really had to laugh quite a bit. As a long time fan of Ed’s I can assure you, April 1st or not,he would never, and I mean never, charge over $3,000 for any book he was selling.

after reading that post, i was thinking that ed may have permanently alienated most of his core audience (uNL and LLNL players) in a single brief paragraph.

well played sir.

I believe I’ve meant that Dr. Okonibwe. He had the coolest pen, a ” Glith Brase` “. It did some incredible stuff, the pen truly is mightier than the sword.

However, that little guy from Doya,Nigeria he uses as a consultant, he’s really hard to follow and understand what he’s talking about.

Jamleeco said: “Love Ed’s since [sic] of humor.”

Which reminds me of when Edward was in grade school. Every time he brought home his report card, in the comments section the teacher would always write about how much everyone at school enjoyed Edward’s sense of humor. His father and I would look at each other, because as far as we knew he had no sense of humor whatsoever. Anyway, it turns out that that he does have a sense of humor which ranges from dry and wry to outright silly. When he was in high school he told me that his main criterion for the girl of his dreams was someone who would laugh at his jokes, and Elaine definitely meets that standard. Their household is full of fun and laughter.

And I still can’t believe that anyone fell for that post. Clearly from the two threads on the website that won’t be named, people did.

Seeing the look on NPA reader’s faces when they saw that pricetag: PRICELESS

Hi Ed,

I sent you a certified check, but I put the wrong amount in. I filled it in for $5,995 before I realized my error. When you ship my copy to me, please include a check for the difference.

Thanks.

I instantly accepted the idea of a postflop chart because everything serious is coming from america and that in particular was sounding so much “uberamerican”…

Hey Ed,

Look forward to the book. Unfortunately, the only money I have is online at Full Tilt. Is there any way I can transfer it to your account or work something out in that fashion? I live in Toronto, Canada.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Pokerstudent
