I’ve been getting a steady stream of inquiries about the new book, and I wanted to update you with answers for two of the most common questions: What’s in the book and how much will it cost?
What’s In It?
The book is a self-contained course in beating no-limit games of the caliber you see playing online 6-max at the $1-$2 level or so. But I basically told you guys that already. So here are two highlights that I think sets this book apart from others currently available:
- An Extensive Postflop Chart. You’ve probably seen preflop charts before. Well we took that idea one step further and created a painstakingly detailed chart for postflop play. We go through every flop, turn, and river imaginable and tell you how to play it from early position, middle position, late position, and the blinds. We don’t know of anyone else who can claim to have done this.
- A Huge Section On Timing Tells. When Sunny brought up the idea of doing a chapter on timing tells, I was skeptical. I always thought timing was too unpredictable to get too much information from. So he challenged me: Write a program that times people’s play and then match it up to their holdings. I’ll tell you what to expect, and you see if it’s in the data. Three months later, I had a nifty piece of software and oodles of data. And Sunny was right beyond my wildest expectations. We found Sunny’s effects and many more. Expect over 50 pages of never-before-published timing tells information.
That should be enough to get your beak wet.
How Much Will It Cost?
We’ve surveyed the e-books on the market and compared price and value. In light of this market survey, we’ve decided to price the book at $3,995. It’s a little bit higher priced than some of the other e-books on the market, but we think that we offer more than enough extra value to justify the price. We hope you do too.
I’ve also continued work on the timing tells software, and it’s really something exciting now. It times your opponents as you play and predicts their hand ranges realtime in a HUD-type display. It’s still in testing, and some of the ranges are a little buggy, but I plan to work this software up to production quality and offer it as a separate product. Stay tuned!
