Archive Review: NPA Birthday Edition

NotedPokerAuthority.com is almost one year old! The first post was made on October 16, 2006, so NPA’s birthday is next Tuesday. I wasn’t sure exactly how the site would work out when I started doing Q&As a year ago, but today I have to say that it’s been a success well beyond what I expected. I’ve received a ton of great questions, we now have over 1,000 regular subscribers, and I’m having just as much fun doing the site today as I did when I started.

In addition to the advice column and articles on the site, we now also have a thriving community on the message board, a poker coach directory, and we have the first of hopefully many poker tools, a pot equity calculator.

I’m going to celebrate NPA’s birthday by giving away some books and DVDs; look out for a post about that in a day or two. For today, though, I figured I’d do an archive review of a few of the earliest posts on NPA:
