thank you Ed .

you are THE poker guru. your advice can always be trusted which is so
important because a player trying new things at the table does not always
get good results. trusting your advice means that we know to follow it in the
face of variance.one concept from you can hit a chord and take someone's
game to the next level.

i have a feeling we don't realize just how frightening your level of intelligence
is (is that 3 degrees from MIT ?). or the depth of the research and analysis that
you have gone thru to understand the many headed beast that is poker.

and that you share your knowledge in such an understandable way- many very
smart people know things but lack the connection to others to be able to relate
to them.

most teachers get to see their students advance. on the internet that feedback
doesn't happen much. i have been starting to give some decent players an uneasy
feeling at the table and owe that to you.

thanks, toebori

Just wanted to start a Thank You post for Ed. I bought his Small Stakes Book and 4 dvd set. I read/watch them every day and still I learn new things every day. They are great and are helping my game tremendously. Also they are helping me understand what adjustments to make in various situations which Is Seriously helping reduce my variance. When you understand your draw isn't nearly as good as you thought it was you don't get “bad beats” nearly as often.
