Hi Ed,

Somewhere inthe SSS articles you say that when you call or raise a/to 4bb raise (playing a 20bb stack)
you should be willingly to go allin on all flops (headsup). Alright suppose I openup
from MP with AA-88, AK-AJ. Now in this specific example I will have 99-88 and
the flop comes AQJ. My raise was 4bb and the pot is now appox 9bb and i'll have
16bb left to bet. My opponent checks. Now my options are:

- check
- bet/call push
- shove

I think checking is the worst option, because the pot is simply to big
to let go.

So if i bet here, my opponent will probably fold everyting i already beat and will certainly
call with any J, Q or A . Because he calls you anyway with his made hands
and probably folds his junk whether you shove or bet the 1/2 pot.
Isn't it better to bet here (and fold to a push, even though you get termendous
pot odds) as apposed to a jam. Because I don't think many opponents will push me
here with less then a J.

ps. it gets a lot easier when you raise to 5bb preflop, because then it's just a matter of jamming every flop. the problem with this raise size  is that your opponents might fold the med hands (our range crushes these hands) pre flop, as apposed to when we raise 4bb pre.

any comments?
