Hi Ed,
First of all, thanks for the books you’ve written and your great website. They have helped my game tremendously.
Anyway, I’m kinda curious when someone is going to write a book on 6 max NL cash games. The only thing on the market right now is a 25 page bonus chapter by Mark Vos in Kill Everyone and the DVD set by Krantz. Do you or Stox have plans to write such a book for 2+2 or a different publisher? Do you expect PNL 2 to thoroughly cover 6 max theory and topics? I know everyone says "its just like a full ring game where the first three players have folded", but I think that’s hogwash. It seems to be a whole different mindset and I’m just curious when someone is going to write a book that does for 6 max NL what SSHE did for small stakes limit.

I wouldn’t call PNL2 a "6-max book", but there’s going to be tons of 6-max content in it. It’s an example-driven book with an emphasis on hand reading and in-the-trenches analysis. Plenty of the examples come from 6-max.

Hey Ed.
When I’m studying examples of play in a 6max setting, in your upcoming book or else where, what mental adjustments should I make to my full ring situation? ( besides allowing for position allowances).

That is my main focus right now, so that is pretty exciting for me. I have been noting some hands where I have been having trouble with hand reading. Perhaps I’ll make more of an effort to post them in anticipation of the release.
