Our villain a 50/12/2 type.  The question is do you think its profitable to plan on getting it all in here or is it best to check the turn to induce a bluff?

Well, I don’t know so much that you’re looking to get allin, because the board is so dry.. it’s hard to see what he would want to get allin with that you beat except maybe KQ, KJ.

I like playing it bet-bet-bet where I bet a little bit more on the turn than you did because you’ll get value from 5’s and 7’s as well as potentially the flopped 6’s and 4’s.

I like your river fold.

I’d say thanks, but it’s actually a friend’s hand.

I feel the same way about it, Ed.  I feel that if there were a flush draw or something on the flop, then it may be ok to get it in.  However, I feel with the board being dry it is probably best to not quite get it in.  My worry with betting the turn is that we can set ourself up for tough river decisions since we will have put in 1/3 of our stack without being committed.

I probably would have suggested betting an extra .5 on the flop, but that doesn’t matter that much.  I do think that betting a bit more on the turn is good.

Say we bet $9 on the turn.  Is there any river card where we call a push?

I’d call a river shove on a Q.  I’d probably call a river A as well, though I don’t think I’d like it.

The villains bet on the river is a weird one.  I’d like to know what he was playing that way, but I wouldn’t pay to find out.  Is he shoving a 5 now that the board paired?  Did he catch a 3rd 6?  Or does he actually have the boat?

Cool deal.  I think that’s fair.

Thanks for the sanity check guys.  :)
