Message Board : AA hand from BB on a monotone flop

Yep, I am struggling with dangerous flops when we are OOP.  I thought I played this one well, but I thought everyone could chime in.

It’s a $1/2 NL 6-max game with 100BB stacks with AdAs.

I have been playing pretty tight due to lack of cards and situations to steal.  

A tight and aggressive player(by 6-max standards, he is probably playing a fairly tricky and stealing sort of game) opens to $8.  I reraise to $35 and he calls.  The flop comes down…

The SPR is a little over 2($165 behind and $70 in the pot).  

I push.

But conversely don’t you think he has a hard time folding KK-88?

Agreed.  I’ve played the same hand from both sides, and its extremely difficult to call with much less than QhQx, outside a set.  I stacked a guy recently with QhQx when I had KhKx…and it was a long pause before he called.

The smaller pairs really don’t have the long term value making that call. I push there with that SPR just about every time.
