Hey! I think I have a good one!
In live play, there have been two or three times where I've seen 3 or 4 old guys playing next to each other at lower limits. From what I understand they always do. I have seen them winners, but I have also heard of people wondering if they are working together.
My first thought is they are just retirees for crying out loud, but the paranoid part yet wonders…
After they left I jokingly mentioned that I heard people say they might work together. She tilted her head with a fake smile and sqeaked "You think so?" in a tone to suggest "I should have known". THAT didn't help squash my doubts.
I doubt that I should worry, because if these guys were that good, they would have to play higher stakes for them all to make any money. Playing $2/$4 or $4/$8 won't cut it.
But it brings me to the question anyway, how previlent is collusion in live play? How can I catch it?
