I used to post in 2p2 asking for these macro principles, and all i got most of the time is “vague questions are bad”.

Betting bigger and more frequently in late position allow you to be playing for more money postflop. Thats better to your pot odds and, for extension, your position becomes a more important than it is normally (and it is normally important). It allows you to improve your winning chances, hand lecture, etc… dont have time to explain you so much JJS but i hope that you understand me.

I think it should be pointed out that betting bigger in late position is a “necessary but not sufficient” condition. In other words, a winning betting strategy bets bigger in late position, but the converse is not true; just because you bet bigger in late position does not necessarily mean that your betting strategy is a winning one.
