A Limit Hold’em River Play

Last week, the World Poker Tour was in town at the Bellagio, and I was playing in a typically fantastic $30-$60 game. Most hands were four-handed or more before the flop, even with several raises.

My main opponents in this hand are Vinny and Herbert. Vinny is in the big blind, and he is loose and almost maniacly aggressive. He bets virtually every flop, no matter what, and he 3-bets if he actually catches a piece of it. He continues with lots of mostly hopeless bluffs on the turn and river.
