Originally my plan for Noted Poker Authority was to solicit reader questions and answer them. This advice column format has worked great, and I’m closing in on 100 questions answered so far. The site has expanded beyond just the Q&A format, but a lot of the best stuff on this site is in the old Q&A posts. Today I figured I’d rescue four Q&A posts from the early days that you may have missed the first time around.
- Q&A #17: What’s The Deal With Straddles? will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about that enigmatic live game maneuver, the live straddle.
- Q&A #41: Playing The Turn Out Of Position discusses the type of hand that separates fit-or-fold limit hold’em from a more flexible style.
- Likewise, Q&A #48: Underpairs Heads-Up In Position sheds some light on that common, but tricky, limit hold’em situation.
- Q&A #66: Short Stack Strategy — Adjusting To Different Stack Sizes is basically self-explanatory.
Check out these old Q&As and then dive back into the archives yourself to find other interesting questions answered.

Hey Ed, Elaine and folks! Just thought you’d like to see that ‘Jilli Dog Plays Poker’ video the way Redneck Comedian Bill Engvall covered it on the Country Music (CMT)TV show, “Kentucky Fried Video’s”, and there’s a vid of her playin Poker on Australian TV show “Great Outdoors” w/host Andrew Dado! Links on the homepage of JilliDog.com… they’re fun, hope you enjoy! rick
