Poker psychology is an area important to all players. Poker can be frustrating and hard on the ego, and if you aren’t careful, you’ll tilt away all your progress in short order. Today I present four articles from the archives about dealing with the unique psychology of poker.
- Donkeys Always Draw discusses the fine art of dealing with donkeys. (Hint: When walking behind them, keep at least ten feet between you and their rear.)
- When Do I Know I’m Awesome? discusses the difficulty many players have when trying to measure their progress at poker.
- Some Fish Have All the Luck busts the myth that you can’t win at a table full of “fish.”
- Playing in a Live Cardroom for the First Time can be intimidating and nerve-wracking. Check out my take on it.
